Phillip's a Bible teacher and Evangelist with Two Ways Ministries. He both models and trains others in preaching the gospel by teaching the Bible. Phillip’s the former Dean of St Andrew's cathedral in Sydney, and former Anglican chaplain at the University of New South Wales. Many of us evangelicals have been influenced by his sermons and books over the years. It was my privilege to have him on the podcast, as I asked him questions about evangelism. Telling people about Jesus seems like an increasingly hard thing to do in our secular culture. Yet Phillip brings a wealth of experience in this area of ministry. I was greatly helped by him. I hope you are too. Enjoy.

Dave Clancey is the senior minister of Trinity South Christchurch church. He’s finishing up this year and pivoting into theological education at the start of next year. He’ll be leading the training and development of clergy in our diocese. In particular, he’ll be focussing on a formal education pathway for our new leaders across our churches, so that we have the next generation of men and women equipped for a lifetime of gospel ministry, God wiling. On top of this, he’ll be working on his PHD at the same time. I’m excited to ask him questions about theological study. Hope this is blessing to you wherever you are. Enjoy.

On this episode, I’m chatting with Scott Mackay. Scott works for Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship. He's the Team Leader of the Manawutu region. His ministry is based at Massey University Palmerston North. He leads the campus work there reaching students with the gospel.
Scott's been very intentional with the way he's thought about the relationship church and parachurch. He’s in a unique position of having worn the pastor's hat and now a parachurch worker's hat. He's got some key insights to share, which I do hope you find beneficial.
He also has some interesting observations about evangelism amongst young adults! Hope you enjoy the conversation.
